Acme Archives
Acme Archives is the main company for Star Wars art
releases. In 2005, at Star Wars Celebration 3, Acme
debuted a new line of Character Keys with art style and characters
from the original Clone Wars cartoon. Yoda was the first key
and the series went on to include 16 total pieces before branching
into characters from the six film Saga, Expanded Universe and the
2008 Star Wars: The Clone Wars cartoon and movie. Acme
also issued keys based on Indiana Jones and Disney's Mickey Mouse.
In 2007 Acme added a line of Sketchplates, art etched on a metal
plate and attached to a Plexiglas backing.
While Acme continues to release higher end art pieces, this
checklist will cover the Character Keys, Sketchplates and similar
releases.
