- ANH
- A New Hope. The title for the original 1977
Star Wars film.
- AOTC
- Attack of the Clones.
- CI
- Comic Images. Hold a license to produce plush
character items as well as banks and gumball machines.
- CI - CIV, CE,
CJ
- Celebration I, II, II and IV. Celebration I was held
in 1999 in Denver, Colorado. Celebration II and III were
both held in Indianapolis, Indiana in 2002 and 2005
respectively. Celebration IV was held in Los Angeles,
California in May 2007. Celebration Europe was held in
London in July 2007 and Celebration Japan in July 2008.
- CW
- Clone Wars. Can be used to describe the toy line of
either animated or "realistic" figures, Cartoon Network
television series or the general time period in which ROTS takes
place.
- DPCI
- Department Class Item. Used by Target to identify store stock.
- DST
- Diamond Select Toys. Obtained license in 2008 to
produce 1:4 action figures, 1:3 rotocast figures as well as coin
banks.
- EP1
- Episode 1. Describes figures released during 1999 on the red cards with Darth Maul's likeness in the upper left corner.
- ESB
- Empire Strikes Back.
- EU
- Expanded Universe.
- GB
- Greatest Battles. Re-paint line that ran in parallel
with the 2006 The Saga Collection line.
- GG
- Gentle Giant.
- H&V
- Heroes and Villains. Re-paint line that ran in
parallel with the 2006 The Saga Collection line.

- HasbroToyShop.com. Hasbro's on-line retail store.
- KB
- K*B Toys
- KOTOR
- Knights of the Old Republic. KOTOR and it's sequel are
video games. The first action figures from this property,
Darth Revan and Darth Malak, are scheduled for a 2007 release in
wave 5 of the 30th Anniversary Collection.
- MIB
- Mint in Box. The item is in mint condition but the box may be open and in less than mint condition. Can have tape pulls, price stickers and creasing. The item inside should be complete and usually unassembled and in close to new condition as possible.
- MISB
- Mint in Sealed Box. The item will be mint in a sealed box. Box, which is only described as sealed, can have price stickers some shelf wear and creasing.
- MOC
- Mint on Card. The item is in mint condition and still attached to it's backer card. The card condition is not listed and can have defects including price stickers, rips or creasing.
- MOMC
- Mint on Mint Card. Mint item, usually an action figure, on a mint card. The figure and card should not show any significant wear, have no rips, tears or creasing.
- MR
- Master Replicas.
- MRL
- Museum Replicas Ltd. See WS for Windlass Studios.
- OTC
- Original Trilogy Collection. In 2004 to support the
DVD release of the original trilogy toys were released in
this special collection.
- PF
- Premium Format. Sideshow's 1:4 scale mixed media
statues.
- POTC
- Post Original Trilogy Collection. The cardbacks from
the OTC figures continued, in style, into 2005 but the numbering
scheme started over at 1 with the first wave. This line
ran till the ROTS line took over.
- POTF2
- Power of the Force 2. The 1995 - 1998 collection of Star Wars toys.
- POTJ
- Power of the Jedi. Star Wars collection running from 2000 - 2002 and ended with the preview figures for Attack of the Clones.
- ROTJ
- Return of the Jedi.
- ROTS
- Revenge of the Sith. Also used as a designation for
the line of toys that were released in 2005.
- Saga
- Saga figures were released on blue cardbacks in 2002 for Attack of the Clones and continued through early 2004.
- SDCC
- San Diego Comic-Con. Annual comic convention held in
July in San Diego.
- SL
- Saga Legends. Re-pack wave running through 2007 and
into 2008.
- SOTE
- Shadows of the Empire. Multimedia event in 1996 that
consisted of books, comics, games, soundtrack and toys. Toy line
ran in parallel with the POTF2 figures.

- ShopStarWars.com. Lucasfilm's on-line store.
- TAC
- Thirtieth Anniversary Collection. This is the
2007 line of figures from Hasbro and may also be abbreviated as
30AC or 30th AC. Figures included coin pack-in.
- TCW
- The Clone Wars. Used to describe the 2008-2010 Clone
Wars action figure line. Sometimes abbreviated as just
"CW." This abbreviation is not used to describe the line
of action figures based on the Tartakovsky micro series.
- TFU
- The Force Unleashed. Video game and multimedia event
in early 2008. Included wave of Hasbro figures.
- TLC
- The Legacy Collection. New line launched in July 2008
to run parallel with the Clone Wars line.
- TPM
- The Phantom Menace.
- TRU
- Toys-R-US
- TSC
- The Saga Collection. Beginning in 2006 this new line contains characters from all 6 movies and is released in themed waves.
Each figure included
a stand and holo pack-in.- TVC
- The Vintage Collection. Abbreviation for the Hasbro
action figure line starting in the Fall of 2010 and running for
an estimated two years.
- UGH
- Ultimate Galactic Hunt. Three-part promotion in 2006
with silver foil packaging and silver vac-metalized stands.
VTSC figures contained coupons for George Lucas as Stormtrooper
mail away and silver metal Titanium vehicles. Continued in
2007 with gold coins and gold foil packaging while the VTAC
figures had a mail away offer for 7 coins.
- VOTC
- Vintage Original Trilogy Collection. Twelve figures were released on vintage style card backs and all figures were highly detailed and articulated.
- VTAC
- Vintage Thirtieth Anniversary Collection.
- VTSC
- Vintage The Saga Collection. Vintage style cards similar to those in the VOTC line. Five characters were released in the initial wave (Luke X-Wing Pilot,
Endor Han Solo, Scout Trooper, Greedo, Tusken Raider). A sixth figure, George Lucas as a Stormtrooper, was a mail away exclusive using coupons included in each of the five VTSC figures.

- Windlass Studios. A division of Atlanta Cutlery and
sister company to Museum Replicas Ltd. Obtained a license
in 2008 to produce costumes from the Star Wars universe.
