Episode 1 Foreign Bonus Battle Droid Collection

For Star Wars Episode 1, Hasbro released figures in the US and some European countries with a CommTech chip that spoke lines from the movie.

In order cut down on the number of languages that the chips needed to be translated into, Hasbro released a set of figures without the chips.

In their place, Hasbro included a bonus Battle Droid which had limited articulation and no paint applications.   There were 28 figures released with the Battle Droids before Hasbro changed and released 5 additional figures with a bonus Pit Droid.

The figures were released in Eastern  Europe and Asia, at least, but they may have been released in some additional areas.
